Launched at SXSW, this project showcased how - in a future world of 9 billion people - the efforts of individuals will make a huge impact on the planet, and how 3M’s diverse range of materials and technologies will enhance our abilities to do so.

To spatialize this idea we created an immersive environment which lead visitors from a dark and chaotic environment to one which was clean and organized. The visitor played the role of a particle experiencing various processes that 3M has developed to help not only make our impact sustainable, but also an inherently positive one.

The audio-visual experience was divided into five zones, each made of a particular spatial array of elements which beautifully represented the capacity of people working together.
